Roster Scoring and Goaltender Statistics
The Boston Bruins have updated their roster and statistics for the 2010-11 season. The Bruins finished the regular season with a record of 46-25-11, good for third place in the Northeast Division. They advanced to the second round of the playoffs, where they were defeated by the Tampa Bay Lightning in seven games.
Leading the way for the Bruins in scoring was David Krejci, who had 22 goals and 50 assists in 82 games. Patrice Bergeron was second on the team in scoring with 22 goals and 34 assists in 81 games. Brad Marchand was third on the team in scoring with 21 goals and 30 assists in 82 games.
In goal, Tim Thomas had a stellar season, posting a record of 35-19-11 with a 2.10 goals-against average and a .933 save percentage. Tuukka Rask was the backup goalie and had a record of 11-6-0 with a 2.58 goals-against average and a .916 save percentage.
The Bruins will be looking to improve on their success in the 2011-12 season. They have added some new players to their roster, including forward Nathan Horton and defenseman Johnny Boychuk. The Bruins will also be looking for continued strong performances from their core players, including Krejci, Bergeron, Marchand, and Thomas.
