Markelle Fultz: The First Overall Pick with the Most Win Shares
Jayson Tatum and DeAaron Fox: Rising Stars in the NBA
Tatum Named Gatorade National Player of the Year
Jayson Tatum, a highly touted recruit from Duke University, was selected third overall by the Boston Celtics in the 2017 NBA Draft. Tatum's impressive high school career culminated in him being named Gatorade National Player of the Year for the class of 2016.
DeAaron Fox, another top prospect from the University of Kentucky, was drafted fifth overall by the Sacramento Kings. Fox's exceptional athleticism and playmaking ability made him one of the most sought-after guards in the draft.
While both Tatum and Fox have had impressive rookie seasons, the first overall pick, Markelle Fultz, has emerged as a standout performer.
Fultz, a former standout at the University of Washington, has led the Philadelphia 76ers to a surprising start to the season. Through his first 60 games, Fultz has averaged 168 points, 73 rebounds, 21 assists, 13 steals, and 11 blocks, a remarkable stat line that has earned him the most win shares among all NBA players.
